when you stop chasing happiness as if it were something your life depended on, you lift your veil of fear of all the necessary things needed for the attainment of that happiness- failure, frustration, rejection, disappointment, your lows and blows.

how can you know what your joy means if you can’t reflect it off of your despair?

give yourself the pleasure of finding your peace that flows under your emotions, your life situations. when you do, it’ll rush through your blood so hard that you can almost feel it oozing out of your being.

when you carry that peace with you, everything is welcome. the air clears and you’ll find that it’s a blessing to feel anything at all, and that emotions are nothing less than chemical reactions in your brain. don’t be foolish and let such things govern your life.
